The 5280 Pitch
The 5280 Pitch is your weekly Denver Summit FC and NWSL podcast covering women's soccer in Colorado, from Centennial Stadium to our future home at Santa Fe Yards.
Hosted by Colorado native and former 850 KOA broadcaster Kate Hanson, The 5280 Pitch brings you player profiles, tactical breakdowns, match previews and recaps, roster analysis, and the stories that make this league so compelling.
This isn't your typical sports podcast. No jargon. No hot takes for clicks. Just real insight into what's happening on the field and why it matters—explained in a way that makes sense whether you've followed the NWSL for years or you're just discovering women's soccer for the first time.
Every episode follows the Summit's journey—the signings that shape the roster, the tactical decisions that define matches, life at altitude, and the moments that will define this club for years to come.
Plus weekly NWSL updates, league-wide analysis, and the context you need to understand how Denver fits into the bigger picture of American women's soccer.
Why The 5280 Pitch?
Because Denver deserves coverage that treats women's soccer with the same depth, analysis, and passion as every other professional sport in this city. And because if you're going to follow the Summit, you deserve to actually understand what you're watching.
