Denver Summit FC's biggest supporters explain what a supporters group actually is — and why you should be one.

Kate sits down with Megan and Emily, president and community liaison of the 14ers, Denver Summit FC's official supporters group, to break down what separates showing up to a match from actually being part of one.

They get into the origin story — starting before the team even existed, back when it was just a bid — and how the group grew from a handful of volunteers into tailgates that have drawn thousands of fans across just three home games.

Megan and Emily walk through what a TIFO is and how one comes together by hand, the role a supporters section and the Spirit crew play in the in-game atmosphere, and the surprising amount of mentorship Rapids supporters group Centennial 38 has provided along the way.

They also dig into the social-justice roots of supporters culture more broadly, why supporters groups exist in soccer in a way they don't in other American sports, and what's ahead for the 14ers this summer, including Fourteeners Fest.

If you've ever wondered who's leading the chants or painting the giant banners at a Summit game — or you've never been to a soccer match in your life — this is the episode that explains it all.

Kate Hanson: Welcome back to the 5280 Pitch Women's Soccer Altitude. Kate Hanson. And today we have a very special episode because we're talking some of the Denver Summit's well biggest fans. We are talking with the president of the 14ers, Megan, And the liaison Emily. In today's episode, to hear We need to have a supporters club, what the supporters club really is. So if you've never been a part of soccer or football, whatever you want to call it, this is the episode for you. So Emily and Megan, thank you so much for joining me on the fifty-two eighty pitch today. Absolutely. you for having us. Yeah, we're so excited to be here. ⁓ kick things off, ⁓ I've been wanting to ta talk with both of you for a while now because actually I was hoping that we could meet at one of the many watch parties that the ⁓ put on because nothing's better than watching football with friends, right? And I'll be honest, I don't know ⁓ of your stories. ⁓ ⁓ start there with today's episode. Before Denver Summit existed, before the Fourteeners existed. Were you a soccer fan? Megan, I'll start with you. I have just I've been a women's sports fan for as long as I can remember, but specifically women's soccer since I think probably some of the ninety-niners, but like really got into it after the twenty fifteen World Cup and got to watch that team come to Dick's sporting clubs a few times, and I couldn't believe I could get amazing tickets for like thirty dollars. And it was it's be able to watch professional women's sports in your hometown is just an unreal experience that I want everyone to have. ⁓ And just become more and more an obsession since then. ⁓ So absolutely. I always wanted to play soccer growing up. Soccer was really big in the town where I grew up, but it was never the sport I pursued. ⁓ my family wasn't really into soccer. It was more we were more of a hockey family. ⁓ And I once eighth grade year, I made the soccer team at school and in the first game sprained my ankle and that was the end of that. So that's about the extent of my soccer experience. ⁓ again, like Megan, like right after that 2015 World Cup, ⁓ of this ⁓ behind women's soccer in particular, one of my best friends in the world, ⁓ roommate from college, ⁓ really got me into women's soccer and ⁓ attention to the World Cup, paying attention to the NWSL. Obviously the league was ⁓ at that point, right? ⁓ and really just starting to gain a lot of traction. And so being able to follow that and then hearing once the the bid here came to fruition, I w I was all in. Admittedly, you know, so much of the work that happened to bring the summit here happened with for Denver FC, the grassroots organization that put the bid together along with Rob and the rest of the investors to bring that team here. ⁓ came in sort of at the tail end of of the Four Denver FC. ⁓ When we became the Denver NWSL ambassador. So to ride that wave and and have it just ⁓ what it is and seeing all the evolution around it, it's the best time to be a fan of women's soccer. There's just so much good good things happening, so many good things happening around it. We at Soccer Post Denver, which is a brand new facility. real close to where the new stadium is going to be. It's just off of ⁓ Jason and Mississippi. ⁓ as you can see over my shoulder here they have Denver Summit merch. We came here for my older daughter to get her some cleats because sh gone through three pairs of cleats this year and it has been a very expensive year. But I feel like maybe we're on the tail end ⁓ the cleat growth. Found some amazing cleats and she's just been having a great season so far. ⁓ we're here and ⁓ I'm talking about why we're here because we're sitting on a soccer field right now, and there are a lot of fun things that are gonna be happening right here soon with the 14ers. So if you haven't played or haven't played since you were in eighth grade, and that was the tail end of your soccer career, ⁓ gonna be some fun things that are happening here at Soccer Post. So talk to us a little bit about what it's like ⁓ ⁓ Build a community around a soccer team. That is really what a supporters group does. And it's building that community so that whether you're at a match or if you are they're on a break and you want to get together with other soccer lovers, there's places like Soccer Post Denver and and the Fourteeners group to make soccer happen and just build out that love of of love of the game. I have to absolutely shout out Kevin Vicente who Is the proprietor here at Soccer Post. He's been a day one supporter of us as supporters. He has often said that Post is the 14ers clubhouse. ⁓ we're definitely gonna make it that. He's been so generous in offering up the space to us ⁓ various 14ers events. drum practice, Tfo painting, soccer post is where it's at. And you're right, the location couldn't be more convenient, you know, being across from where Santa Fe Yards is going to be. So A lot of what we are eventually going to do around the new stadium in the district, and just generally a lot of our programming is going to happen here through Soccer Post. We are also working with his apparel team to get some 14ers exclusive merch on the ground here at Soccer's Post, which is really, really exciting. But ⁓ think what you were getting at, Kate, was this idea of building a community, right? whether you own a business, whether you on a bar or grill, whether you run a community organization, a community film festival, or are a 501c3 looking for support, whether it's with volunteer hours or donations of sorts, whether it's in the area, right? Like there's so many people that are coming together around this organization because of the environment that not only we as 14ers, but that the summit is trying to create It's truly an inclusive space where people can come and find others who just want to be in community. I think a a lot of this is also spillover from the pandemic, right? This the sense that women's sports and women's soccer in particular provide this great atmosphere of community and belonging. I think that's just something that we as fourteeners are really cognizant of and want to capitalize on and want to provide for. All of the people in Denver and Colorado and even Wyoming, Arizona, maybe not out towards Utah, they've got their own crew out that way. But that's just so cool is that we get the opportunity being with the first professional sports team for women here in Denver. to this to this degree. I also want to acknowledge that the the Onyx is here as well. They are a professional team. We've got the WNFC and the women's football teams are here as well. ⁓ But with a team of this magnitude. ⁓ to be here and and be able to create community around it, you bring all sorts of folks together, and I think that's really, really, really special. ⁓ I think who's a fan of women's sports has had the experience of being like the crazy person their friend group who is like, I found this one bar that will play the game for us, and they ⁓ said they might able to turn on sound. ⁓ And to have experience just totally flipped on its head and have it be celebrated. ⁓ And people want the group to show up and to be able to just have that moment of collective joy. It's so rare to have moments like that that you can be in a place with people that maybe you haven't met yet, maybe you've been long-term friends with. I it's just we're so grateful to be here in this moment to help build this because like it's just overwhelming how great it is. It's been great to watch the team, it's been great to ⁓ goals, but The number of people we've been able to meet through this that have just been people I would have never met otherwise. It's just wonderful. And just what a blessing to be in this position in this time. And if you haven't been to a Fourteeners event, we gotta check it out. I to talk too about how the Fourteeners ⁓ started. Because when Fourteeners started, you were saying, Emily, it was before we even had a team. It was when it was still just a bid. Hey, we might get a team, but that's when supporters groups and that's when community really matters. So talk to us a little bit about how the Fourteeners got started. so the the Fourteeners is, I want to say, like the third iteration of what supporters group culture started like here in Denver. I mentioned for Denver FC, which was a group of folks just really excited about bringing a women's soccer team. Here to Colorado. organized all sorts of watch parties, specifically at number 38. They partnered with the ⁓ and Lady Justice and really worked with the community in this area in particular. They ⁓ networked to investors and helped expand the network of who was going to be involved in ⁓ putting a bid and bringing the team here. ⁓ The four Denver folks were the ones who were able to meet the commissioner the day that we found out the bid was accepted. ⁓ and once that bid happened for Denver FC, some of them became minority investors in the team, others transitioned more over to the NWSL Denver or Denver NWSL ambassadors. It was sort of this in between of the original for Denver FC group and what is now the Four Teeners. The ambassadors existed. When we had the color green but not much else. and then ⁓ just a few months after that, the ambassadors were only around for a few months before the fourteeners actually came into existence, believe in September, and we officially elected a board and such in October of last year. So we we've g got up and running really quickly. I think there's so much of what goes into this is all driven by volunteer. Not a single person that Helps out with the 14ers is paid or compensated in any way except immense pride and joy, if I must say. Right. there's there's so much about people just coming together to build something on energy of ⁓ being in community with soccer, women's soccer, with the summit as the backdrop. and it's it really has just become this cohesive space where people who are not soccer fans are coming out. To be a part of our events because it's fun. And I've I've heard so many people say that Summit games are the first time they've gone to a sporting event where they don't have to think about anything. They can just exist. that's folks who are from underrepresented populations, whether that's women, girls, ⁓ just so about what our organization and our team and our larger community is is helping to cultivate in the city. Yeah, I don't even know if there's much I can add to that. Yeah, I think our group, I have loved to see that we've gotten people that are diehard soccer fans, and I thought I was, and they have taught me way more. I was in fact not the dyest of diehard fans, that know every stat, that know every player profile, that know their contracts, that know were they a training three weeks ago. Two people that to Emily's point have never been to a professional game of any sort. any sport and they all feel welcome and are excited. And on the other side we have little kids showing up and having a great time and coloring for signs at our tailgates. And we also have women in their 70s, 80s. I think we even had a 90-year-old at the last tailgate that are just thrilled to be able to see this happening in Denver. And just again, just the joy of it all, it's ⁓ don't want to be too corny, but it's it's just that is the overwhelming vibe. Yeah, and if I may add one one other thing just on the composition of the the board and the officers, just to give you some insight into how the fourteeners operate. We do have a governing board of five people pr plus the president who acts as a go between the board and the officers. our board ⁓ steer the ship. They look at the overarching sort of mission and vision, make sure that we're adhering to that in everything that we do, and then the officers. Are the people who are doing the day-to-day operations and and things, planning the events, making the connections out in the community, making sure that the join a game initiatives are happening, helping to support community service initiatives. ⁓ social media team, holy moly, ⁓ social media team is just incredible ⁓ everything that they're doing. and just so many great people. ⁓ And of them, like I said, were there from the start with four Denver FC Days. and People have joined all the way through, right? So I came in at an ambassador time. We called Megan after the 14ers already existed and offered her the president role. and we've had we're we just expanded the board as well just based on interest of ⁓ wanting to be involved, energy, passion, time, talent that people want to give to this organization. And so ⁓ ever evolving, ever growing. And so I don't think that there will only be 13 or three iterations of the 14ers. I think every day we s see something new and it's because of the power of what everybody is bringing from their own individual talents to the table. a lot of people might be saying, okay, ⁓ this like a club or what I I don't really understand exactly what we're talking about here with the 14ers. ⁓ it's a supporters club is different than just being a fan at a game. You go to the game, you watch it, and then you you go home. ⁓ Talk to us a little bit about why it's different to be a part of a supporters group. So one of the things that's really important to know about supporters group culture is that there is an element of social justice that also comes through everything that supporters groups are meant to do. Supporters groups are meant to be that inclusive space that champions all and creates an environment at the games and at events and things beyond that celebrate every identity that there is is as soccer is a sp is a place for you. ⁓ The role of the supporters group is to advocate for the players and advocate for the fans themselves. So you'll see a lot of supporters groups throughout the country signing ⁓ along with the NWSLPA and making sure that players' rights are protected, that compensation is fair, that those sorts of things are being advocated for. But you can even it's evidenced in things like TFOs. You'll see a lot of social messages ⁓ social justice messaging in TFOs. Okay, so I want to there's a lot of things of in soccer culture that I wanna make sure that we s we stop on right now because that is that is one that I think a lot of people so I'm in the I'm in the Fourteeners Discord and there's Tifo Day and and all sorts of things. For those that might be new to soccer and supporters groups, what is a Tifo? So tifo is an Italian word, tifosi. ⁓ and it means anything that the fans are doing collectively visually in the supporter section or around the stadium. For us, it's big, large-scale paintings. We focus on handmade, collective, community-driven messaging. But we also are really lucky to come from the NWSL has a great history of supporter group culture that we've learned a ton from. Like Emily had mentioned, we started officially last fall, so we have had to sprint to catch up. we have been really lucky to be able to lean on the knowledge of some other supporter groups that have been really generous with us. we've done two TFOs already, if you've seen them. and we are always looking for more people to come and join us ⁓ to help them, come up with the themes, execute the painting. ⁓ all all of them have happened ⁓ here. Yeah, I think one of the biggest things about Atifo is that it's meant to be a love letter to the players, a love letter to the community. And just it's an opportunity to show, hey, we're here and we're in solidarity with you. We are in support of you. We want to make our voices heard around topic. it spans the gamut, right? You have ideas of celebration, you have ideas of competition, you have ideas of social justice. that all come through. And so if you look across the league, there's all different types of TIFO as well. You've got overheads that are yanked up like big canvases. You've got things on tuples that people are holding. it's ⁓ Megan said, ⁓ through art that is completely hand done. whether that's sewing, hand ironing, hand painting, hand taping, ⁓ hand sketching a project projector, large scale to sketch stuff out. it truly is a collaborative effort and I think in and of itself the art of creating the TFO is something really, really special. supporters groups in particular are really about advocating for the larger community that's being created throughout ⁓ soccer. there's are that you will see four teeners getting involved in and speaking out against or in support of ⁓ that are meant be bigger picture, right? It's not just about what's happening with your team and in the moment, but we also have knowledge that not every club and supporters group always see eye to eye on things, whether that's the treatment of players, the level of care provided, the type of facilities, the quality of facilities, the supporters groups ⁓ out on that quite a bit. and we are hugely fortunate the summit has been community driven from the start, right? This team Is about the community. And so there's a natural partnership between the 14ers and the the summit organization as a whole. and they haven't given us a reason yet to get upset, ⁓ we're really excited about, right? And it's gonna stay that way. But I just I really have to give them credit that ⁓ every move that they have made to make sure our players are healthy, happy, taken care of, their families are supported. That they feel like this is their club, this is their home. They've absolutely gone out of their way to do that. And it hasn't gone unnoticed by members of the fourteeners, especially some of those more diehard fans that Megan's been talking about. watching, right? To make sure that this club that we've, you know, wanted so badly and have, you know, given a lot to from behind the scenes and things that we want to make sure that our players feel happy and taken care of and and so supporters groups make sure that they can use their voices to also keep The clue club in the league in check at times too, yeah. it's not just the Denver Summit or the NWSL has a supporters group. I the the Rapids have a supporters group. The US national team, having the American they have ⁓ a supporters group. Why do you think is so prominent ⁓ in soccer culture or, you know, if overseas in football culture, compared to other sports here in the United like the Rockies, they don't have a supporters group per se. At the avalanche, I'm a seasoned ticket holder, but I'm not a part of a supporters group. So talk to us a little bit about why this exists in soccer compared to other sports. it's based in European tradition ⁓ and the energy excitement and the passion for football internationally, specifically in Europe and the UK, that's where this derived from this this idea of intense passion, right? You can go to certain stadiums ⁓ in the UK Europe and there's four-inch plexiglass ⁓ along each side of the supporters group because things get rowdy, right? And so ⁓ the Americanized version much more focused on community. versus European, which is more focused on passion for the club and for the sport. but you mentioned, you know, the MLS has supporters groups. We have to acknowledge Centennial thirty eight, the C thirty-eight crew, holy ⁓ mackerel, the the level of support that they have given us in making sure that the Fourteeners is able to rise to the level of a group that's worthy of mentioning, we couldn't have done it without them ⁓ and their time, their energy, their knowledge, just huge thank you to all of the C thirty-eight members that have come to the tailgates, to the folks that have lent us their equipment, who have cooked for us just everything. We just we have to acknowledge that. ⁓ also it to show, I think, on a bigger scale, the idea of camaraderie within the Colorado sports community. Like I I Betsy from Lady Justice, ⁓ during the first game, when they were showing the video on the Jumbotron, at Empower Field, she said something to the extent of, you know, Colorado loves sun, sports, and beer, something like that. And I thought it was the truest statement I'd ever heard. ⁓ the way that C38 has come together and supported us, I think ⁓ is unique to soccer. ⁓ right, that doesn't exist in hockey and basketball across baseball. it is the Americanized of that European outset. And we've we've taken it and make it made it more of a community thing than just ⁓ we're here to watch a game. And that's so so special. I just wanna say, echo the C thirty-eight shout out. I think positive relationship we've had with that supporter group in particular and a lot of the crossover, we have a lot of members that are members of both. I think we're planting the flag of this is Summit's rookie year. We've ⁓ played gonna play in three different stadiums. It's been wild. We could not have done it without C38. And I just want us to like plant the flag in the ground of Denver is the soccer city, not Denver is a soccer city. It's just the energy is high and we're in it for the long haul. So you guys have had the opportunity to put together some great TFOs, some amazing watch parties. You helped lead ⁓ parade of fans into Mile High Stadium. Talk to us a little bit about ⁓ of the fun things that have happened for members of the Fourteeners so far in this very young season, only eleven games in. Where do we start? Tailgates, player of the match. We gotta shout out Jolene, our head of Tailgates. She has corralled all of our volunteers. ⁓ what she has pulled off in with her crew of the Tailgate committee to, I think we've had easily five, 10,000 people run through our tailgates in just the three games. It's been insane. Just the number of people we've met, how many people we've fed, ⁓ the sing-along, the sign making, that's been awesome. people have come and joined on the spot because of the tailgates. when you are a member of the 14ers, you also are eligible to present player of the match. ⁓ And we've had the ability to go on field for home games to present that to the player voted player of the match, and you get to present them with a plaque that the 14ers had made ⁓ here in Colorado. From a master woodworker that one of our members designed. He's at he's made it all and will customize for each player. And it's think everyone who's gotten the opportunity to do it has expressed how like this was a once in a lifetime moment of going on the field and just being able to celebrate that moment. It's just awesome. Yeah, think there's there's so much that has happened, right, since the start of the season in March. It's June. ⁓ There's much has happened and it I ⁓ Can you imagine what comes next, right? Like there's so much that's gonna be happening the fourteeners perspective. We're gonna continue obviously the watch parties, the tailgates, ⁓ gonna ramp up our community events, ways to get involved. We're gonna be marching in the Pride Parade at the end of this month, which is really, really exciting. We'll be right behind the summit, but we're our own, ⁓ our own independent entity, which I think provides its own level of excitement. ⁓ we're gonna continue to have design competitions for our merchandise. This ⁓ shirt right here is our our Pride shirt, which we solicited from members of our community. We had 10 great submissions. We had ⁓ votes for the top design ⁓ sorry, all the designs to decide who's went on a t-shirt. but there's so much of what we're bringing to the larger community to that goes beyond soccer, ⁓ that I think will come out over time. I mean, we're we are in our infancy, right? So there's a lot to learn, there's a lot to establish, there's a lot to expand into. I also want to acknowledge we do ⁓ join a game initiatives. So one of our c committee members, he initiates join a game opportunities. And then also just generally programming with some of our partners as well. ⁓ the summit been really ⁓ been able to ⁓ raffle off summit gear ⁓ at a lot of our watch parties and events, is awesome because I know if you've tried to bid on that online. It is impossible. As well as we're gonna have some player or member ⁓ only available like player sessions that we're working on setting up once they're in temporary stadium. ⁓ So Yeah. Fourteeners get special access. and and things like the Utah game that we just had. Fourteeners got the initial access to those free tickets that the club was giving away before season ticket holders. So ⁓ being city season ticket holder is great. Being a fourteener is better. you can be both too, right? So that's a of us are a lot of us are. but so that's happening. But there's there's just so much we're also I mentioned earlier, ⁓ Kevin wants this to be kind of a clubhouse here at at Soccer Post. And so we'll be hosting a Fourteeners Fest here with all sorts of different activities going on and and whatnot. But we've got so much yet that we have to uncover. we're gonna start expanding our road game presence as well. That's gonna be a big push, I think, for next year. ⁓ Just people start to learn what it means to be a member of a supporters group. there are folks that are more involved and some that are less involved, and to us, that doesn't matter. Right. We want you to be able to come to the space of the fourteeners as you are and give what you can when you can. ⁓ lot of that is just showing up and enjoying everything that s ⁓ volunteers that we have throughout the organization, hundreds of volunteers for all the different tailgates and social media, every committee we have just have to acknowledge the f the immense number of volunteers. We wouldn't be here without them either. supporter section tickets, not required be a member of the 14ers. ⁓ All are welcome in the section. ⁓ we're the people leading the chants and waving the flags and beating the drums are all 14ers. But all are welcome in that section. It's gonna be loud, it's gonna be fun. But we have tons of 14ers that sit anywhere in the stadium. Seasoned ticket holders, non-seasoned ticket holders. We want anyone who wants to come the summit to feel welcome. Yeah, can we can we talk about the supporters section for a minute? Yeah. We have to give credit where credit is due with our our spirit team, right? The drums, the flags, the chants, everything, the signs, the posters. Those folks who lead all of that for us have put in countless hours of quite literally blood, sweat, and tears to bring the in-game experience to the level that it's at now. A lot of them joined this organization being, I'd say like French soccer fans who are now just Headfirst in and giving everything that they have. They practice all the time. They're having meetings all the time to come up with the concepts. In a lot of ways, the spirit section is the essence of the the supporters group and defines the in-game experience. We've been very fortunate that a lot of the players have acknowledged our spirit crew and what they've been able to bring. You mentioned the march to the match for the Empower game. We've done a March every home game thus far and we will continue to do so. But There's no en experience required for that either. If you want to come and play the drums, join up with them and they'll teach you how to play. They'll teach you the chance. And we want to make that experience accessible to as many people as possible. You can find the chance on our website so you can go and learn them. But to Megan's point, we want the 14ers experience to be collective throughout the stadium, not just in that section. Because there's actually quite a number of 14ers who are maybe a little bit older who ⁓ don't want to stand the whole match. Those there are folks with little kids who can't stand the whole match, ⁓ And we want that spirit energy throughout entire stadium and it starts ⁓ in section as we call it to really make that happen. So huge shout out to them and what they've been able to curate for us this year. Okay, well as we wrap up today's episode, if wanting to maybe w they didn't really know what this whole Fourteeners thing was, that it was open for ⁓ real anyone to join, what the supporters section was, who were those people banging the drums. they want to get involved and join a committee. the best step for someone to take that ⁓ ⁓ thank you so much. I didn't know what you guys were or who you guys were or what you were doing or anything, but now I know and I want to know more, I want to get involved. You can find us wherever you are most comfortable. are in lots of places. We're at the games. You'll find us tailgating. You can talk to anyone in that supporter section. You can find us online on our website at 14ersupporters.com. ⁓ Instagram is a great place to find us too. Our social team is always on, ⁓ to respond. You can join our Discord for free. If you don't want to become a member and just want to find out what we're all about, chat with people, you can show up to a watch party. We have those every away game. Wherever you are comfortable, we will be there. can email us. Yeah. Info at fourteeners supporters dot com. You find us. Yeah, and I will also say too, ⁓ want to acknowledge all of our community partners that allow us to watch parties and and events and things. So obviously Kevin at Soccer Post, we've got Miranda and Annie at the ninety-niners, Betsy at Lady Justice. Lindsay at DNVR, the crew at Joe Willie's and Trash Hawk, there's just so many people that are also helping to spread the message of the fourteeners and advocate. So if you're hanging around grabbing a beer at any of those places, feel free to ask about us. They know who we are. You can get in touch that way too. but just reach out. That's the that's the first step. And ⁓ we like to think we're pretty fun people, but hang Have ⁓ a make a end I have to tell this funny story. Yeah, tell it. So ⁓ our membership director Amanda was on a flight coming back from somewhere and managed to recruit people who were in her row on the plane to become members of the Fourteeners as an expert membership move. So shout out to Amanda on that. But that's an energy that I think we're creating. I ended up doing so Alison did it too. Allison did it, our treasurer or sorry, our officer of funds. I did it recently. I got them to come to the game, ⁓ the Pride game actually, the two people sitting next to me. But that's that's what we're about. We're trying to bring as many people in as possible to experience just this magic that has been created. And the first step is reaching out or happen to bump it into one of us on a plane. Emily and Megan, this has been such a great conversation. So in just I I do want to give you guys the opportunity to talk about I believe it was Fourteeners Fest ⁓ that you have coming up. And what that's going to be, when it's gonna be, just tell us a little bit more about Fortiners Fest. If people want to come and check out Soccer Post, I mean, other than this beautiful mural, there's two fields here. There's a Denver Summit merch. There's there's a little bit of everything, but for all Fortiners, there's gonna be a special fest. So tell us a little bit about that. yeah, it's gonna be at our clubhouse at Soccer Post. I did wanna, since you brought up the mural, Shana Leaf is the muralist for this. Incredible artist. She also painted our backdrop that we used at all of our tailgates. So huge shout out to her. Wonderful local artist. But we are gonna be here with tons of activities for kids. We'll have some little pickup games going. We're gonna have food. We're gonna have the opportunity to engage in some mini Tfo stuff. I believe our cotton candy machine is gonna make an experien an Which is ⁓ merch for that. we'll have Denver Summit merch that ⁓ Kevin and the team are gonna be bringing out for us as well. ⁓ we're gonna have a DJ, we're gonna have our photo booth. It's a time for all of us to get together maybe outside of that tailgate experience and just hang out because so often on game days we're hyped to get into the stadium. Some of us are running around pulling off the day and such. and this is really just a time for us to be together in community and celebrate this this massive group of folks that we've been able to bring together and just so we can say hi and really get to know each other. This is just the beginning of something wonderful and Fourteen Years Fest is gonna be a great way to celebrate that and I believe the summit's gonna be swinging by ⁓ the whole team, ⁓ ⁓ there will be some representatives from the front office I think that'll come by for that and show their support as well. but that will be here at Soccer Post and details forthcoming on the when and the time and all the other specifics.
